How To Become an Engineer

According to Jobsite research, engineering is now the third most appealing career to teenagers aged 16-18. Great news for an industry with a shortfall of at least 20,000 skilled workers.

As Jobsite have previously discovered, whilst the excitement for engineering is there, 63% of teens don’t know what qualifications are required.

In response to our findings, Jobsite have evaluated over 35,800 engineers in the UK database to show you what the average career of an engineer really looks like from A Levels right through to Director.
